This small Vancouver condo was a cramped space with little storage or natural light and had been painted a bright red which was not only outdated but far too bold for the small space. The owner, a busy performing artist, wanted an elegant and relaxing retreat suitable for entertaining as well as recharging.
Painting the walls a soothing light grey opened up the rooms and showcased the beautiful solid oak floors. Furniture and lighting inspired by the Mid-Century Modern and Art Deco styles added the desired elegance while providing flexible seating and an impressive amount of storage made the space much more usable.
We carried the update through the kitchen and bathroom with freshly painted cabinets, some custom tile work and a new range hood. The addition of a modern range hood in the kitchen and new lighting and mirrors for the bathroom brought this outdated home into the modern era with elegance and ease.
